	It reads " Ko r vi Sa 1942" in the Devanagari Script. Most likely an armory mark. Need better and inverted snaps for the dotted script. Regards, Bhushan  |

			I think the date inscription is easy to read 1742 in hindi or devengari I posted the devengari numbers.India has as many languages as states and over the century the writing of letters and numbers has changed.  |

			The image is in its correct position .Their are 5 letters  J ? R Y P These are the letters the second symbol I don't Know.I have only translated the symbol to a letter If you were to read this in hindi it would make a word.
