				 | KNIGHTS of the AIR Part2

Following Part 1, here is the offering from the actual flying display. Again in order are the following types, which all flew at some stage of the day. Bristol F2 Fighter, Sopwith Camel x 2, Sopwith Triplane, Fokker D111 Albatros, Fokker Dr1 Triplane line up painted in the various colours of von Richtofen "Flying Circus", The Circus takes off, 2 DR1 in flight, 7 Triplanes in flight (where else do you see this these days?), The Sopwith Camel and Triplane prepare to do battle, The German High Command watch the action. That's the lot folks. I do hope you enjoy, and sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I think worth a look.... Stu Last edited by kahnjar1; 6th April 2013 at 01:50 AM. |

Thanks for posting these pictures Stu, an absolutely stunning array of planes if they have all been built from original parts. I might have to come and have a look at them some time drd |

Sorry Stu, but ... this part 2 wasn't expected This theme is clearly out of the forum scope; its posting was agreed under special request and must not be considered as a precedent ... and certainly there will be no part 3 . - Last edited by fernando; 7th April 2013 at 12:38 PM. |
