			Here are three African daggers, I believe West Africa(Senegalese?) that I would love to find out more about. They are relatively small, but of good quaility. The hilt material appears to be polished horn with fine silver inlay. The pommels have some similar features to Moroccan koummays. 
		
		
		
			It's obvious the one to the right and the left have a common kinship. I have heard in the past that these may be from Senegal. The center dagger has some similar features. Can anyone share more on these? What are they called? Any more info on origins, most especially for the center one. Thanks in advance!  |

	  .  What a very nice trio and I would agree with you that they are form the modern countries that are the west coast of Africa the former trade coast. These styles of knife seem to cover a vast area with  slight regional differences. The one I singled out is very much like Mandingo daggers. I think they look great.  Tim
