Not a very fancy thing, but I was quite taken with its form.
Handle I guess is wood of some sort, nice blade. Comments welcome. Are these just utility knives or a weapon? ![]()

Nice piece Gene. My guess would be either ebony or teak for the handle, but could also be some other sort of tropical wood. Nathaniel would know I suspect.

Hard to tell by the pictures, but could the hilt be horn? The ferrule could be brass.

Thank you gents. Here's a better pic. The 'grain' is like regular layers, very fine.
