In Singapore, do visit the Asian Civilisation Museum @ Empress Place.
Not as many pieces compared to the collections at Jakarta, but there are quality pieces as well.
A good shop to visit would be, Malay Art Gallery @ Bussorah Street (near the Sultan's Mosque).

If you have time, I can arrange a meet up with local collectors..
