Hi folks,
Just got this yat. Date is 1320 (1902). 25" long This type of T-pommel has been said to originate from the Anatolian centre. The decoration recalls the treatment of Laz Bicagi handles. BS coast? ![]() Emanuel |

Not much to add to what you have written in your opening post. The engraving on the blade looks almost as if someone was trying to imitate a koftgari decoration - including even the cross hatched pattern.
