			  looks like someones idea of a fantasy sword from someone not used to having ideas.... i cringe whenever ebay lists something as 'rare' - tho in this case i hope it means that there isn't another one like it....the only thing good about it is that it looks like it has some age & does not look like stainless steel. it seems to have snapped a few inches up from the grip & the pieces are butted together, or there is a score line there to enable a controlled break if you dared hit something with it.

			I have a feeling that this is a Benin? Yoruba? staff or parade staff sword. The decorative parts above the grip I have seen before and I am sure I have seen the kinked blade before.
