I do however think that is seems as if anyone who get a new tulwar, thinks he has to open a new thread. If you had made a search there are many threads commenting on diamond shaped hilts, so why not choose one of these to show your tulwar on?

You are correct as far as searching for an answer on diamond shaped hilts which I found but if we were to post our new acquistions on an old thread they might not stir up much comments or interest sometimes posting new pieces helps to stir the pot.

Nice sword Louie.
Always liked the slim blades without too pronounced a curve. How's the feel and balance?

Very solid and nicely balanced hilt is small for my hand but I can still wield it with not too much trouble.

Lew, you have a good point, but my reason for asking was, that you specifically wanted comments on the hilt, so to me it would be natural to write on a thread commenting on the diamond shaped hilts. This would have meant that comments on diamond shaped hilts would have been kept a bit more together and not spread so much.

You may be right that you will get more attention this way, but I am not convinced.
