Thank you for your insight. I must apologize as I am unfamiliar with all the terminology and tribe references so as I learn I hope to gain a better knowledge of this blade and others like it.
I came to posses the kris when a family memeber passed 5 years ago. That family member was in the military and travelled extensively. I'm sure the kris was aquired while stationed in the philipines at some point. I have posted some close up pics as requested. I do apologize for my poor quality photo taking abilities but I think they will show the finer details of the blade and the scabbard.
