Working BATAK knife ?

Just win this knife or tool by Ebay. If someone can confirm:
Is it Batak?
Is it a Sumatran SADEUEB?
length: 32 cm X 18 cm

I am speaking from ignorance.
To me the blade shape somewhat resembles the Parang Ginah/sickle knife from Malaya crossbred with a kerambit? I have included a picture of sickle from Mr Yaroms site.
I look forward to comments from experts. Sorry I cant offer facts.

Yes, this is a tool / knife for harvesting rice IMO.

I have seen a few in the past in slightly different style and these where offered as javanese rice cutting tools.

This one has a hilt that makes me think of Sumatra too.
But otherwise, not a weapon, but a rice cutting knife.

Hello Ericlaude,
it's look like a sickle so it is probably a rice cutting tool. But the rice knifes from Java, Madura and also from Dayak look different. I have rice knifes from Madura and from Dayak and know the knives from Java. Tomorrow I will take some pics.

The seller say it is original from :Lake toba district in north sumatra.

Hello Ericlaude,
when you have the book from Albert van Zonneveld look at page 25. There is a drawing from an Arit, described as a sickle, tool-cum-weapon. The blade look very similar to your knife.
Here is a pic from a rice knife from Madura called ani-ani.
