Good thinking about the ivory. Indeed in case of horn it would probably not be missing.

My question was raised because in the books I never see the ivory mouth pieces combined with this specific hilt form.

All sikins with ivory mouthpiese that I have seen were in the combination that Michael shows in his picture and sometimes with the Hulu rumpung.

Ps.
Any other forumite with picture of ivory mouthpieces ?
