It's nice to see this sword retains it's staple guard; too many come without .
One of the jaws seems to have been truncated at some point . The carving is nice and crisp yet has a good age patina . The scabbard is always a plus ! Dates on the coins ?? I see it was a hairy example at one point in its life . The bell is a ceremonial addition possibly ? Good acquisition .

Were you able to buy this Kampilan? I was watching it as well but the seller took the auction down. Were you able to buy it?
The seller also had another Kampilan w/ Tiger Bells that they took down. |
