REALLY GREAT THREAD!!!!!!!!!! Not that I have anything further to contribute in the way of useful ways to display stuff, but......................thanks to those who have posted pics of their wonderful and VERY interesting items as a result of this subject

Atlantia, I posted the pictures of the Rapier in the European Armoury forum hoping to get more information on it than I have now, which is little to none. If you wouldn't mind please take a look at it there and if you would like I can even post close-ups of the 'mounting system'. Thank you for your interest and thanks to all the others for sharing their ideas and wonderful displays with the rest of us in this great thread.

Most of my stuff is hung via rare earth magnets and small picture hooks with blued hardened steel nails and a bit of blued steel wire. The bottom photo I used a walking stick holder for some of my spears and clubs.

Default Thanks Everyone

Thank you everone who has let me into their house and collections for a virtual tour.
As I am undergoing major renovations over the next 12 months I won't have much to share on the display front but I will be sure to mark this thread for future postings as I do have a couple of nice displays in my mind for when all is complete here....here is hoping the renos don't drain the finances and keep me from obtianing other stuff too.
