Appears to be a standard WW II era shingunto (Army military sword).
Blade signed "Seki ju Kanekado saku" (Seki = town) (ju = in, lives in) (Kanekado = smith's name) (saku = made). Pretty normal sword, seems in rather good condition. Rich S The Japanese Sword Index http://www.geocities.com/alchemyst/nihonto.htm |

Looks like it might be a water dipped blade so could be late 30s Army blade
