Here is a Qianlong era yanmaodao. It is a lovely solid blade with very nice flowing water pattern welding and Qianlong style fullers but there is significant pitting at the tip that would make polishing it tricky. The price is $420 shipped in the lower 48. The pictures are of it being restored.

And with the scabbard before it was painted and the handle was wrapped.

The restoration was done well enough that the blade will not fall out of the scabbard when held upside down.
