If it's a broken tip that has been cut down then maybe it only resembles Murut?
I think Kai has a good "point" with the broken motif/engraving.
The rest of the Jimpul doesn't look Murut and as you say yourself they are not known for carrying Jimpul.
A very unique and interesting parang anyway that probably has a very special story to tell.

On the rare Sangkit I haven't seen any with brass dots like that before - congratulations!
Could you please post some additional close ups?
