Default Malay parang (?)

Looks Malay to me, maybe Sumatran. When I first saw this one I thought it was a recent version of a parang pattani that DAHenkel provided great information about on the old Forum.

It's a Sumatran klewang, Ian, and the nicest of the three with an upswept wide blade that I've seen so far by a long stretch.
This one has an unusually heavy blade and that uniqe tip, making it really sweet.
The "horse foot" hilt end is almost always a sign of a Sumatran piece, to the best of my knowledge.
Congratulations to the winner of a great piece, in my opinion.
Here are pics of the other two, both vastly inferior to this one.....I'd found an ID of klewang jenguk for the first one somewhere, but truly can't remember where, and it's similar in shape plus had a blade treatment on the end.
The second has the wierd "guard" incorporated into the blade where it meets the hilt, with the end curved inwards.
All three seem to have variations on the "horsefoot" pomel.
