Default Excellent metaphor!

VERY well said Ed! and here I am proudly among the many 'cogs' in the wheels of this well oiled machine, working with everyone here to achieve the ultimate goal of performance. Ian is well placed as the controller to harmonize the operation and function of the machine overall.

Here we all learn together, literally every day for me, and the joint efforts of many years have produced an unsurpassed corpus of archived material which is a comprehensive source for present and future students of arms and armor (whew! hows that for a sentence?!
Your excellent suggestions added here exemplify the kind of support we all share here.

Best regards
Jim

The poll is closed and the numbers are in! Thanks for the responses. Not a high response rate, but at least an expression of interest. I am encouraged to proceed albeit at a measured pace.

A quick update on this project. There has been some behind the scenes movement regarding organization of the content of the project and how best to put it together. I'm starting first with Australasia and hope to have some content to display in the next few weeks.

Looking forward to see what appears. Although most of my oceanic collection has gone I am still very interested.
