Hi Jim, it's mentioned in the post, from the visser collection catalogue: HV-693 page 150 visser cat part-3, author JP puype.
Visser had 8-9 ( I don't recall) walloon swords, they are all described in the above Cat.

btw if you see the marks and the inscription x SAHAGVM x of the visser sword hv-693 , are they likely to come from the same workshop or delivery.

Apologies for my late reply; I was looking for the armourer with the crowned ‘P’ as a mark and came across Domingo Oroczo, the Toledo.
Often combined with the text ‘SAHAGOM’ and a faint image of a running wolf from Passau Solingen.

Apart from the Walloon type, I have seen many other blades with this mark.
It is remarkably uniform!

This one went recently at a Dutch auction, IIRC. My guess is this is a rehilted Amsterdam type Walloon with a more recent 18th c guard.

I recently acquired a Walloon sword of the Amsterdam type and the information in this thread is very useful, particularly the pages from the Visser catalogue - thanks Cornelistromp.
