Interesting keris. It does appear that this is a keris that had legitimate "combong" (complong), unlike the vast majority of blades claim to be complong that just have a hole worn through the sogokan from years if acid washing or an opening caused by an accidental forging failure. That and the small size seem to indicate this is a talismanic blade, a term i think might be more apt than "magical"
The stylized planar hilt is very interesting to me as well. I don't know that i have ever seen one quite like it. |
