Although the blade is a little wider than many 19th C examples, I think this one is probably mid- to late-19th C. The scabbard could be a somewhat later replacement and not necessarily original to the sword. Nice laminated pattern on the blade. A nice looking fighting barung.
Sorry, I don't have a scabbard to match your barung for age. |
