The pictures are rather dark and the hilt is hard to see. However, I think both the hilt and scabbard are pre-WWII, perhaps 1920–1940. A clearer picture of the hilt would help.

Thanks Yves. Yes, that's what I thought the kakatua probably looked like. I think 1920–1940 should encompass its age.
