Here's another one from the same auction that made no sense to me:

A Piso Podang with only one bid of $1,253.00. The estimate was $200.00-$300.00 and the opening bid was lower than this? How could it get so high in one bid?

There was a single absentee buyer before him. I have a podang for sale; maybe he can contact me with his $1250 bid

That's a Piso dagger .

Never saw such a short blade on a Piso .
Like I said I'm glad I didn't waste the time and the gas .
