Oh Mamma Mia! (sorry but others Italian sentences I have in my mind are not as kind as this).
I have made a goo choice to ask you photos! This is an ancestral schiavona type, the blade is still large and the basket is not fully developed, is much more uncommon than later examples. In my opinion we are around 1570-80 about datation and I am 99% sure is a Belunese model, not for sure German. The blade belongs with hilt and pommel and the handle seems orginal too.
