thanks yes , the applied decoration is certainly similar to that seen on koummiyah .

Size? Smaller ones were used for finer grind priming powder.

I read somewhere that these were pirates powder horns>>> theres one on forum Please see ETHNOGRAPHIC MISCELLANEOUS AT #2 or below from a hotel Foye near Casablanca.

Moroccan + Salé = pirates
again right, but these powder flasks were used all over North Africa...
