Unknown Spear Head, Tourist item?
Saw this in a local shop. The shaft is some type of fibrous wood. Origin?

Spear is approx 5×2, with the mount 2" longer.

Shaft is over 6 feet. Is this European, African, or other? Thanks

The dimensions of the head are fairly small but the head is quite robust and the socket suggests it was hand forged. The very plain design of the head could be from almost anywhere b ut Africa would not be my first choice. I think it's probably a lance rather than a spear.

Looks like a palmwood shaft. My guess would be from South or South-East Asia somewhere... Not Africa.
