Do i read Picinino on the blade ? Gyngell registered a Frederico Piccinino in the XVI century and a Frederico Picinino in the XVII century, from Milan; were they two of a family ? . |

Frederico Picinino ( i see only one c ) but the style is more likely og the late 16 th century : with a pommel of type 32 ( 1570-1625) inner guarde of type 30 ( 1590-1610) the hilt of type 74 ( 1545-1620) so my guess 1590-1610 Best Jean-Luc | |
