, I suspect the bird may have been added later. I do not think it was a 'royal' sword, maybe just one given to someone & decorated later.

So it is the royal Peacock (not a phoenix

) I suspected it might be a peacock.

Any more accurate translation on the inscription on the silver bit?

ie..beware of fake/ imitators of swords with peacock logo?.
