				 | Bruneian silat Keris demonstration.

Thought this might be of interest to forum members, both for what little we can see of the keris and for Maul Mornie's particular flavor of Silat Melayu. I've had the pleasure of training with Maul several times, and the guy is an amazing martial artist. Even still, there's likely a bit of myth in what he says about the Keris. Thanks, Leif https://www.facebook.com/maul.mornie...9373092465150/ |

I'm still looking for a Bruneian Keris to add to my collection. In my search I gathered that In Brunei there are no keris being made. Blades are imported from Malasia and dressed in Brunei. Is there somebody who can tell me more? |

Hello Ebrain, You may be wasting your time .... I read that the former Sultan of Brunei (the richest man in the world at that time and owning a huge kris collection) brought some kris makers from Indonesia and Malaysia for making krisses in Brunei, but this was some decades ago. Regards |
