I've been interested in SEA cultures and traveling the region way before starting collecting antiques. While quality pieces of most categories of antiques and so-called "tribal art" tend to fetch prohibitive prices, it is still possible to obtain many quality blades for reasonable amounts (prices for high-end pieces keep rising rather swiftly and sure are hurting my funds though).
