The way they get around the description is to throw the lot in... Indo-Persian bozdogan / buzdygan mace (Ottoman or Persian)


Here's another..
Ibrahiim, here is why besides Stones descriptiuon I think that this particular type mace may in fact be Persian. In the photo below is what seems to be accepted as a Persian mace, note the inserted dots on the mace head. Compare it to the smaller solid iron made from one piece of metal, notice the dots inserted in the same manner as the larger mace.

The similarity has made me change the description from "Ottoman" to "Persian / Ottoman".

This morning I was brave enough to take some photos in books...
They are all described as Ottoman maces.

Thanks for adding these images, but on some of these I wonder how exactly they determined that they were Ottoman. I am sure that on some of the highly decorated ones there is evidence of the culture that made them but on others???
