Hello,
I don't understand why nobody has reacted to this post yet, because I think this is an interesting and beautiful dagger. It is really not my area but I think that this one is not too difficult. The ornaments clearly say SAHARA.
So this is not a tourist piece and not Ottoman either, but a Tuareg or related Berber tribe from north-west Africa. I looked up some similar items in order to convince you. They come in thousand variations, mostly with straight blade, but the wire ornaments on the hilt is strange and beautiful.. Age? Late 19th/early 20th c., but this is only a guess.
