Greetings folks,
Here for sharing is a Sentali shield from Bangladesh. It has a bronze face with copper dome bosses (I made the eight smaller ones to replace missing ones). The 4 middle ones are from copper coins. The spike, rim, and circular hook are iron. This is a rare form of shield, and rarer still is the bronze face type. Does anyone have any information on this? |

What a delightful object - rather reminds me of the European lantern shield.
