I was in London 2 years ago. Played hooky at the conference and hit the museums. .
Wallace is incredible, I never set foot outside the Oriental oxhibition and was ready to stay there forever. Apparently they have a problem with the Eropean collection: a lot of it was discovered to be modern fakes.
Went to V&A: big disappointment. They have limited the number of exhibited weapons; instead, here were rooms after rooms of Islamic religious objects.
