I was thinking the same thing. I am not too fond of many of the display methods employed here either.
And what's with that gold (?) band with the green stones (?) haphazardly wrapped around that Sumatran ivory hilt. Doesn't seem to belong to it at all.
Also a number of blades that seem to have some rather active rust.
I would have expected more out of the Malaysian National Museum.
