Definitely Ottoman. Maybe Balkan? Does look jade, onyx, gilt silver. And yes looks like Turkish wootz.
I am not aware of these belonging to Kurdish sections of he empire though. The seam on the scabbard doesn't look traditionally Ottoman but more recent. What a great piece and thanks for sharing! |
