Thumbs up

THESE 4 PICTURES ALL LOOK AFRICAN TO ME THE FIRST ONE APPEARS TO BE A WOOD CARVING CHISEL, THE SECOND EITHER A AX HEAD OR SCARIFICATION KNIFE BUT FROM THE SIZE I THINK AX HEAD. ALL 3 IRON SPEARS LOOK AFRICAN 2 HAVE SOCKETS AND ONE A SIMPLE TANG AND BARB.
THEY HAVE BEEN MAKING REPLICA BRONZE AGE ITEMS FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND CAN PUT ON A VERY CONVINCING PATINA. THE REPLICAS ARE OFTEN SO GOOD IT TAKES AN EXPERT OR TESTS TO TELL FOR SURE. GOOD PROVENIENCE IS RARE TO FIND SO WHEN I COLLECT SUCH THINGS I ALWAYS ASSUME ITS A FAKE , BUT IF THE WORKMANSHIP, PATINA AND PRICE IS ATTRACTIVE I GET IT ANYWAY.
SEARCH THE FORUM FOR SCARIFICATION KNIVES I THINK THERE IS SOME INFORMATION IN THE ARCHIVES. GOOD LUCK
