Another Nagasasra...
Dear Jean,
This keris below is also a keris in the era after era of Sultan Agung of Mataram. Keris Nagasasra which is, according to records, is the king of Mataram Amangkurat giving. And the last time owned Prince Rangga Gempol, Sumedang regent from 1656 to 1706. Either Nagasasra Kornel or Nagasasra of Prince Rangga Gempol has a style that is different from the usual keris Nagasasra of Mataram. Possibly, this dagger is tailored to the holding, the relative nobility of Sunda .... Ganjawulung |
