I am as well very pleased by my purchase! Agree with you about the scabbard, maybe it's an old replacement because the original one was lost, who knows? But the scabbard is well worked and seems to be made for the blade and with the polished up brass it looks nice enough. BTW, the blade seems to be laminated, will etch it by time. Best, Detlef |

Have just given a mild etch to the blade and it showing a very nice lamination. Like you know is it a little bit difficult to show it by pictures but I think it is to seen.
