Absolutely beautiful.
Was this form specific to a working class or culture/specific group? I've often heard of this referred to as a "Pirate's knife" but not much else after this descrption. ![]() |

VERY NICE INDEED! IS THE HANDLE WOOD? NICE DESIGNS AND SOMETHING I HAVE NOT SEEN BEFORE. IT WOULD MAKE A GOOD ADDITION TO THE EXAMPLES OF THESE IN THE PREVIOUS POST ON CHINESE FIGHTING KNIVES. CONGRADULATIONS

The knife arrived today. Let's see the forward guard is not fitted well because some idiot took the knife apart the butt shows signs of being drilled out and refitted with a nail. There is a huge dent or crushed area about a half inch long and 5/16 of an inch wide which is hard to make out on the photo
