Danny, i use the term "old Madura" simply to distinguish it from all the contemporary blades that come out of Madura these days. Your blade looks to have some good age to me, but i would not care to put any more exacting dates to it out of hand. At least 19thc i would venture, though it could well be older.

I think the seconds keris like a 'dapur' jalak nguwung ( Keris jawa antara Mistik dan nalar by Haryono Haryoguritno, page 172)
