African bow ....information please

colin henshaw Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 1,429	Hi David Interesting...with the hide wrappings round the bow, and the iron ring I would go for West Africa; Northern Nigeria or maybe Northern Cameroon. I've seen similar iron rings on spear shafts from that area. Perhaps Hausa, Fulani or Nupe ? Regards
