katana Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Kent Posts: 2,658	I should have been more specific (it been a looooong tiring day ) I knew the edges were sharpened concave edge ( kora) etc. I meant a reference to the end shape with the three 'waves' ......symbolic? cultural? religious?. Regards David
