VVV Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Sweden Posts: 1,637	Ganja, I think the hilt might be from Sumbawa, not Sumba. AFAIK on Sumba there never was any local keris culture and production. But Sumbawa (Bima) has had both Bugis and Lombok connections keriswise. Michael
