African Knife....intricate wire work.......Shona??

katana Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Kent Posts: 2,658	Hi Flavio, thanks , I knew the overall shape suggested Shona....but I have never seen one decorated this way....until I saw another for sale yesterday. Apparently (the one for sale) is dated very early 20th century....is that a possible date for this one?.... are these common...or is it something a little more special ?
