I was told that the earliest plaques were actually made in Baguio (and not Mindanao), that's why a lot of profiles are inaccurate / mislabeled / fantasy made. Eventually though, other areas (including Mindanao) picked up the plaque-making as people realized it was marketable as a tourist attraction
