Rick Vikingsword Staff Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 6,376	When I etched my 'archaic' kris I used cotton swabs to keep the etchant within the bounds of the engraving. This allowed me to concentrate my efforts on the center without darkening the edges too much. Attached Images
