Robert EAAF Staff Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Centerville, Kansas Posts: 2,196	Rainer, I don't know if this is of any help but the birds head shaped hilt as well as the coloring and the carving on the scabbard are reminiscent of the Black-Crowned Pitta a native bird of Borneo. I don't know if this bird is native to any of the surounding areas though. Robert
