Default Huge Congo Boa sword For Comment

Hi All

This arrived today. A large Boa sword from the Congo. I have it pictured next to his little brother. The large sword has a 25" X 3.25" blade which dwarfs the smaller 14"X 2" dagger. There seems to be museum acquisition numbers painted on the hilt in red and it reads EC 62.26 B any clues to what the numbers stand for? I would think that the sword is from the early 20th century but could be from the 1890s also? Let me know what you think as far as age goes. Btw Tim this was a 12 on the fish and chips scale

Thanks for looking

Lew
