Thoughts on this grenadier sword?

It looks like Glen's remarkable instincts were well placed as always

in his presumption of Netherlands. I based my 'French Connection' solely on my recollections of this distinct 'Caissagnard' motif which was peculiar to French blades of this period as noted.
Is it possible that these swords, which do seem to have French character, might have been supplied via French makers, much as Solingen supplied so many armies of various countries?
